Jordan’s interest in computers started at an early age. Like most pre-teens during the pandemic, he wanted to build a computer to enhance his videogame playing experiences. He began to experiment with learning how to code through Coding Academy and realized early on that he was talented in this field. Post pandemic he continued his self-learning of computer coding and became employed during the summer to teach computers and drone technology at a local non-profit organization working with City of Detroit youth. During his junior year in high school, Jordan took it upon himself to sign up for AP Computer Science where he began his formal education in computer science principals with an emphasis on Java Script.

Jordan sees computer science as a future career with an emphasis on cyber security.
